Dear friend,
As the proud representative of San Diego in the House of Representatives, I take every chance to speak about the people, organizations, and sectors that make our region one of the greatest in the country. One of those sectors --the innovation and health care sector-- is an economic engine for our region that advances the research and technology needed to solve some of the most challenging medical problems.
Since my office helps grant seekers who are looking for federal opportunities, I will be holding a virtual workshop next week on grants related to health care. Elena Martínez, PhD from UC San Diego's Moores Cancer Center and Dr. Jim Murphy from UC San Diego's School of Medicine will be joining us for this event.
