My office has the honor of making the 52nd district a better place, as well as sharing information with the people I represent about funding opportunities available through our nation's federal grant-making agencies. Different categories for grants include arts and culture, education, transportation, agriculture, business and commerce and community development, among many others.

If you would like to learn more about how to apply for these federal grants, join me next week for a virtual grants workshop to discuss grant resources and tips. This presentation will serve as a broad overview for grantseekers and will be most helpful for those who are new to applying for federal grants.

We will also discuss funding opportunities available for nonprofits, the process to apply for grants, and provide advice to practice good fiscal management.
