Dear Friend,

Every year, I have the privilege of nominating San Diego students to one of our nation's service academies. San Diego is a proud military town made stronger by our servicemen and women. Academy nominations offer students the opportunity to continue that legacy.

About the Academies

 

San Diego students can apply for a nomination to one or more of our nation's service academies, which prepare future commissioned officers for the United States Armed Forces: the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and the United States Air Force Academy.

 
How to Apply

The application for 2020 Nominations is now open.

Visit my website for more information on eligibility, application requirements, and the nomination process.

Applications must be submitted to our San Diego Office by Friday, October 26, 2019. Late or postmarked applications will not be accepted.

 

A Note About USCGA

A congressional nomination is not required for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy admissions process. To learn more about their requirements, you can visit their admissions webpage or call 800-833-USCG (8724).

 
Information Night

If you or your high school student is thinking about a career in our military, join us for a special Information Night to hear from admissions counselors from each Service Academy as well as representatives from college ROTC programs. My staff will also be on site to answer questions.
