Medicare’s Open Enrollment period is here. San Diego seniors can enroll in or make changes to health and drug plans for the new year until Saturday, December 7th.
During the enrollment period, review any materials that are sent to you by mail. These brochures and notices often will provide important information concerning your current plan, Medicare, Social Security, and any changes to your current coverage. They also may offer a preview of the potential plans.
You can review your existing coverage by logging on to the My Medicare webpage. You can also preview new 2020 health and prescription drug plans online and find the perfect option for you.
The new Medicare Plan Finder is the best way to compare different coverage options and shop for plans. Once you log in or create an account with your Medicare Number, you will be able to create a personal prescription list, compare your existing plan to others, and view prices based on the possible help you get with drug costs.
