Dear Friend,
As we continue to fight back against the multiple impacts COVID-19 is landing on our communities and country, I wanted to let you know that we are in this together.
I'm continuing my work to bolster you and your voices in Washington, as I hear from constituents, local leaders and front line workers about the struggles being faced across San Diego.
New Rep. Peters In Place Episodes:
Tourism in San Diego

For this Rep. Peters In Place, we talked about the importance of tourism to San Diego. Tourism is a cornerstone of our city's identity and economy. While this time is a difficult one for many, restaurants, hotels, and other recreation-based businesses are some of the hardest hit.
Mental Health During Times of Crisis

This Rep. Peters In Place episode touches on why we need to bolster support for mental health resources and suicide prevention assistance during COVID-19. Last week, I led 54 of my colleagues in urging House leadership to prioritize Americans' mental health in future coronavirus relief packages. It's imperative we ensure our hospitals and schools are adequately prepared to support higher numbers of struggling patients and students.
As we adapt to this new normal, my office remains hard at work and is committed to serving you. If you require constituent services, please click here or call (858) 455-5550.
Take care, stay healthy, and we will get through these difficult times together.
